Day 13- We are in Canada!

 

We have traveled through 10 states: 

Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Montana. We have seen lakes, rivers, miles of rolling fields, oil fields and mountains. We have had sunny skies and warm weather, rain, cold temperatures, mud and frost. And now we are in Canada.

We had no issues crossing the border. We were asked about guns (don't have any), why we were in Canada and for how long. It took less that 5 minutes!

Alberta looks a lot like Montana with its fields that stretch out for miles, cattle, sheep and horses. They even have ground squirrels.

  As we neared Calvary the landscape started to change The Rocky Mountain Range appeared in the west. 

                                                                 

We drove around Calvary and stopped at a quaint little ski town and stayed in Wapiti Campground which had electric and water.   AND had Mc Donald's for dinner!

Big day tomorrow- Banff and the icefields.
